Reply to Advice for a vinyl head moving to a vci-100

Hi- Ive had a vci 100 for ages and never used it. Just been using my 1200's.So its at present in its original factory state. I want to start using it and need a little advice what to do.

From what I gather from reading the community , I need to:

1- Update unit to latest firmware revison with the chip.

2- Which DJ software should I be using? Which version of Traktor"?

Anything else i am missing?

BTW i will be using a mac with leapard Os on it.
