Reply to Help with the pulsing led mod?

So, got my midifighter yesterday and immediately I tried a few ways to make the pulsating led look best. What I ended up doing was mounting the led on the bottom, bent down so it was very close to the bottom edge, then I took hot glue and put a 'bar' of glue along the bottom [not vertically bottom... bottom as in closest to the user] edge of the bottom plate before assembling it. It diffuses the led very well and gives it a pretty sweet look.

My question is a little different though, the LED pulses OFF to the tempo. I don't want that. Is there any way I can map it so it's off all the time, but flashes on at the tempo? I read somewhere about someone mapping it to the beat phase monitor, but I can't find the led in the mapping list...

Any help, guys?
