Go to the NI site, login in on the upper right, it changes to my account, click that and select updates. What do you see?

24.05.2012		anyone else having problems dragging songs from the track deck into playlists???

it wont allow me to do it

normally after i grid a song, i open up the designated playlist, drag it from the track deck straight into the playlist

now it wont let me do it!!!


anyone else got this bug?

Thanks for the explanation on the quantize Padi! I understand now they are expressing the terms in beats, but why not stick with common nomenclature for such things. I guess it's less confusing for nonmusicians.

The grid bug means I'll be going back to TP2 as alot of the 80's tunes I play have multiple grid markers. hope they fix it soon.

Click download and see if the file is named traktor 2.5 setup.. I believe that is the right download link if i recall correcrly..

If u go to service center, it should be the only red highlighted update..

Same here... I believe it wasnt on the site for me because my license was from the s4 and scratch pro upgrades..

24.05.2012		Ignore my sample deck earlier rant. Set the hotcue buttons back to legacy mode and select a slot with shit+hotcue as usual. If you have all/none selected they act as beatjump/loop but if you have 1-3 it behaves like it used to.

Summing up, if you depend on this feature stick to legacy.

edit: setting 1 is one beat, not one bar, so 1/4 is actually 1/16 and 1/2 is 1/8. why don't they label it normally is beyond me.
for a fix u can import the traktor S4 user settings map this works but when ur using the filter knob it also moves the loop selection no biggie tho. also it seems like it doubles up on the loop control pads

24.05.2012		I have to say i'm really impressed, NI really gave a good clean to the software, my 2006 1,83 core duo mbp was really struggling with a low latency setting (for scratching) even with no key lock. Now i can key lock everything and it's smooth as butter. I love it !!

And i agree, the timecode (mk2) seems even more responsive ( or maybe it's placebo from having no sound glitches i dunno).

24.05.2012		Ah that, yeah it doesn't update the phase. I thought you were reffering to the grid updating. Same results both with beat and tempo sync.

24.05.2012		Not installed it yet, however it doesn't delete them, it just ignores them (if synced to another tune it continues to sync from the first grid marker and not the second, if you've got a drifting bpm or a phase shift).

24.05.2012		Hmmm, I've got a few songs gridded that way on older versions of Traktor. Wonder what happened to those? All of my gridded tracks are locked so that would be interesting if it still ignores it.

EDIT: Yes seems to be issues even if the track was locked. Interestingly though the grid still looks to be inline after the second marker, but it doesn't play in sync.

Bit glitchy at first but a second restart and much better.
Just a quick play so far so not much to report.
Will be sticking with 2.12 live for a while yet.

24.05.2012		If you're having the problem of nothing showing up under my products and serials, and you originally ordered it online for download, you can go to Order History and if you click on the download link it will download the new update. I got it that way and still don't show anything under Products and Serials.

i figured it out u have to Import the Traktor S4 User Mapping and it all works actually it works but controls the beat jump as well as the loops as well as everything it used too lol i just want to use them like before until i get the F1 controller

ya but how do u control it with the control s4 Knobs below the jog wheel ? like u were able to before ... Also your not able to delete your sample like before when pressing shift and the sample deck button ?

Actually i figured it out u have to Import the Traktor S4 User Mapping and it all works
