Augustina Zulu 08.06.2012 | I've always said that "DJ's are librarians with good hand ear coordination". That was a while ago though so I believe now I would update that with "and looks good in a hat". |

Viviana Tarno 08.06.2012 | Being able to handle stress. There's always something happening that fucks your mind up, such as gear suddenly refusing to work or annoying and/or drunk people harassing you to play the Spice Girls while you try to make a decent mix. I've had beginner DJs at my side that at a certain point just bursted out in tears and started throwing with stuff because they couldn't handle it anymore... |

Jolynn Schroyer 07.06.2012 | yeah of course thats my style naww mean? |
Phyliss Katsikis 07.06.2012 | did you really just try to hijack his thread? |
Jolynn Schroyer 07.06.2012 | Im stuck right now on mixing. If i had more motivation or a lead on what to do next... Like a real life tutor then i would be on it 24/7 but i have no real life dj friends and learn everything with trial and error. If i can't make a solid transition then I'm kind of like ... ugh fuck. My music only gets 30 plays on sound cloud and nobody leaves a comment. Kind of depressing naaww mean? |
Brunilda Kora 07.06.2012 | The ability to post on community s when you should be practicing is a skill NONE of us should have... |
Melinda Wubben 07.06.2012 | Taste. Shouldnt be a surprising requirement, but quite often lacking. |
Alla Bluemke 07.06.2012 | getting bitches |
Jolynn Schroyer 07.06.2012 | Good track selection. Being friendly helps also. |
Glynis Mangona 07.06.2012 | the ability to identify quality tunes that are not peak time bangers, as well as knowing when to play them |
Matt Kane 08.06.2012 | the ability the be rigorous when it comes down to tell people to gtfo of the dj booth or place their drinks in the booth no matter if they are friends or not. |
Wallace Lawmaster 08.06.2012 | Organization skills. |
07.06.2012 | ability to get ones wang sucked while still concentrating on the mix. |
Ira Alsadi 07.06.2012 | Immunity to cocaine and other fun, I mean illegal, powders. |
Latoria Kavulich 07.06.2012 | A liver of steel. |
Natalia Bucko 07.06.2012 | realistically, if your goal is to get booked, all you need to do is be the most social guy and kiss everybody's ass. Not just other industry people, but the actual randoms at events. Half the DJs I see get booked, get booked because they are friends with all the people at the event, so they'll show up for their set, and the DJ looks like they're killing it because they've got the crowd. |
