personally i'm not liking his new stuff as much as the underground communication era tunes, but i love that he is doing his own thing and i know he is making sounds he enjoys with all of his heart and i respect the shit out of that. when i saw him in l.a. a year or two ago...well that show blew my mind. the energy was amazing and his mix that evening was heavenly. it rivaled some of the best band live performances i've caught. i've seen him 2 other times and neither quite lived up to the magic of that evening in l.a. but it was still great to watch him doing his thing. i do like how he's playing a bit more dnb lately though, cause i'm a sucker for dnb with 1/2 tempo drumstep stuff. |
