Knife Party - Internet Friends

I know I am very late to the party, but I just heard this song for the first time and it's pretty awesome.

Very marketable to the masses that's why I can't believe I never heard it before.

I believe that this is nothing to be surprised about, skrillex (or anything that sounds like skrillex for that matter, I count Knife Party as a part of this) is very popular with the target demographic of a club. Definitely a club in the UK. And believe many people will agree with me.

I just thought it was funny that you found that odd. Did explain it well enough ?
Perfect I just red back the original post now and understood it straight away (i had a long day yesterday).

Yeah you basically hit the nail on the head. I play a club that plays Guetta/Calvin Harris and all the other commercial stuff but you often get a track like this that takes the roof off.

I was in pain writing my last post. But i play at a club that has a music policy. That isn't my taste but i still have to play what they want to hear and if it means playing Knife Party i'll play it. I get paid good money to play in front of 600+ odd people every Friday/Saturday.

Perfectly reasonable, if you were to ask me right now what the hot tracks in the clubs are at the moment, I just couldn't tell ya, it just doesn't interest me at all. Listening to more than an hour of Top 40 is somewhat of a challenge for me.
Hell, I don't even keep up to date with all releases within the genres that do interest me. Must be over 5 months ago since I last checked UKFdubstep for example. Someone asked me two weeks ago about the new datsik track, I had no idea what he was talking about.

In essence I also just keep up with music that I enjoy listening to.

ok all (probably get pulled for this ) but how bout a bit of old school, nu rave, rave breaks, mixed roughly all off the bat, beerage included, whilst we all decide the ins and outs of Knife Party and their great contribution to this thing called House Music !!! Get your white gloves, whistles, glow sticks to hand and let's go.....

(mods, I know I'm asking for trouble with this post, but it's been a hard day at the office )

I totally dig KP despite the hate I'm sure alot of you threw down in the bottom of page 1/page 2. Rage Valley is a sweet EP, and Centipede at the right time makes the crowd go nucking futs. [2 cents given]
