Quick speaker question
Quick speaker question Posted on: 30.09.2012 by Sergio Radon I have a question I'm currently using harbinger also 15 Yesterday I had one connected directly to my laptop via 3.5mm to RCA and I noticed that the amp in the back is hot I've never noticed it before, my question is, is this bad for the speaker or is it normal to get hot at some degree? Thank you | |

Darlene Strohbeck 30.09.2012 | It's more likely because Harbinger is a (no offense) cheaper brand. Some powered speakers run hot, some don't. I've heard that some Mackie SRM450's get so hot you can barely touch it. |
Ethel Feigum 30.09.2012 | amps get hot, you're probably fine. Keep checking it while it's in use to get a sense for how hot it normally runs. |
