Kamala Temple 12.10.2012 | I saw them in a very small venue in NYC, no more than 75 people. They were using Traktor with 2 turntables and a Maschine. They were playing on a small wooden table with people all around it. They do in fact play a real show. Honestly, it was one of the most fun shows I've been to. They're a class act, even stayed after to party with everyone and hear the DJ after them. |
Barbie Bangasser 12.10.2012 | If you search Youtube they have a video of how they play live and if I remember correctly its with Ableton and everything through a Audio 6 I believe. I'm not sure what that matters but I heard in another community that the audio cut out was probably cause by their MacBook's HD shock protection (whatever it's called). I don't know if I believe it since it sounds like a new song starts magically mixing midway through them re-setting up. Then again, I am not familiar with DJing in ableton. |
Erich Vallabhaneni 12.10.2012 | all good my friend I hate a fake show as much as the next guy. Why even stand up there waving your hands and jumping around if an iPod can do your job for you? |

And to Paris about the no reason to hate thing, i was talking about the "sampling" not the possibly fake show. Sampling from a song isn't reason to hate someone who's music you enjoy, even if it was going alittle too far. |
Desire Piedmont 12.10.2012 | I find it hard to imagine that everything could stay plugged in after that screw up. It's possible, but it seems absurdly lucky if it did. |
cala mar 12.10.2012 | I've never even heard of flosstradamus and based on what I'm hearing in the video I know why. I just find it funny that they were acting stupid enough to knock a table worth of gear on the floor. |

If there was "mixing" going on while the stuff was all the floor, then it probably mostly pre-recorded. If the songs playing were known remixes or versions played elsewhere, then it could be legit. I've seen a lot of videos on youtube from guys at fests where they are turning the "magic knob". Meaning there is mixing going on and yet there hand is on a random knob that wouldn't be able to produce that. Or doing that fake knob tweaking you see a lot of guys doing where they just touch a knob but don't actually move it. I see a lot of guys doing the fake touch thing, some are just checking as sort of a habit, others I believe are trying to fake how much they are actually mixing. |

I'd bet half the people who look down on prerecording support autosync, at least with a mixed CD theres the implication that you've mixed the set by hand at some point. Playing out a mix is less "fake" than syncing. |
Kamala Temple 11.10.2012 | After watching it again, everything does still look plugged in. |
Ciara Cuttill 11.10.2012 | I don't know, it's quite difficult to tell, it seems as if their gear was still plugged in and playing. |

Ashlea Retzlaff 11.10.2012 | cant tell if its fake or not. stuff fell on the floor but things could have still been plugged in. looks liek the laptop stuttered when it hit the floor but worked fine again afterwards. |
Renata Shehu 11.10.2012 | LOOK SUPER CLOSE...THEY AREN'T CHEATING 0:51s he has his laptop back up and PRESSES a HOTCUE on the laptop...starting the next song (which was probably already ready in waiting) then at 0:59s you see his arm move up on the controller that engages a HIGH PASS FILTER right before the next song drops... later 1:24 after he talks...he presses the same HOTCUE to restart the 2nd song again... when everything fell over nothing BROKE or skipped...but the crossfader (especially if it's set to cut) probably moved over to deck 2 who's volume was all the way down...then when it got nudged or picked up again it slid back over and resumed the track 1 song at full volume I believe he was already ready with track 2 and pressed one of the laptop numbers to trigger the 1st cue point and through on the FILTER to quick mix out... anyone else believe this is true?? or is there something i'm missing as to why you believe it was a premix CD??? |

Cristian Carmona 11.10.2012 | ripping hardstyle? |

They should have released them as remixes probably more so bootlegs. Bird Peterson basically does the same thing with Top 10 Beatport Tracks and credits the original artists and seems to pull a decent amount of fans. |

Lang Abriel 11.10.2012 | lol, i feel like half the ppl there didn't even know what was going on, and he just plays it off like its still all good. Couldn't understand what he was screaming through the mic |
Matt Kane 11.10.2012 | what the fuck? |

Delmar Hungler 12.10.2012 | Arr no way |
Erich Vallabhaneni 12.10.2012 | Damn, yeah I can see how that's going alittle too far....but deff gonna download it because I kinda like some hardstyle and love some Floss. |
Roseanne Torstenson 12.10.2012 | And then this comes around too.. http://www.factmag.com/2012/10/09/du...only-sampling/ Is this how to get ahead these days? lol |
