Recommend some Disco and Funk tracks

Hey everyone ever since hearing Duck Sauce and few other great disco funk style tracks i've been obsessed. I've been having trouble finding a consistent set of tracks that would fit with Duck Sauce. So I was wondering what your guys recommendations would be for disco and funk tracks.

Amazing collection which I am happy to say i have it all on CD and quite a bit on Vinyl from back in the days when i used to use them for scratching lol

on top of this i would recommend Archie Bell and the Drells, Parliament and Funkadelic, as well as I actually like collecting breaks or the actual tracks breaks come from, so got quite a few and love listening to them, as your only looking for disco and funk you could also look for any of the Rare CD issues and Mastercuts go search through their tracklistings as there pretty decent, wish I had my ipod in work I would reel of some disco classics, also recommend Azymuth.

oh and check this Blog if your really into this sort of stuff it's very good, http://www.funkmysoul.gr/

and one other group, an Album that took me two years to find on CD by Bubblegum - Funk My Soul if you can find the main tracks of this album on MP3 do so ;-)

ooh one other group i must mention, even though they may not fall into either catagory but The Rebirth are fkin amazing!

and if your into or would like 60's-70's R&B Soul and Funk which is made now check out a label called Daptone Records, they have artists like the Budos Band and Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings along with various other groups that make that sort of music now and it's amazing, infact a track of Sharon Jones's latest album has been remixed by the great Masters at Work! ;-)

Can't believe i forgot the Incredible Bongo Band too, oh and here's one right out of the left field for ya Trampled Under Foot - Led Zeppelin! honestly go listen to it lol.

need anything else just ask and best of luck, you picked a genre of music that i have loved since i was a kid ;-)

Great stuff, some seriously great stuff in here, perfect find for prep-ing sets just before Summer kicks off.

Some more contributions.

The Eternals - Wrath of Zeus (Original Mix) - Gotta love the french accent zeus. Full of funky-genius. (First brought to my attention by JFK from MSTRKRFT if you believe that! :S)

Axel Le Baron - Primary School
A more modern filtered french-house track

LCD Soundsystem - Yeah (Pretentious mix)
This EPIC masterpiece from LCD has such an awesome name.

More from DFA records, just such an amazing label , there is a DFA Edit floating around (much more mix friendly, doesn't have the punky part at the end.) but I couldn't find it on youtube. This song is on in the house party in the movie Superbad!

So they made an old sounding disco song ??? With an electronic intro/outro. Strange.
It sounds like it's a loooooong break in a house remix but then it never cuts loose.
I don't get it ???

Not too much disco to my mind

I love funk, but disco gets me twitchy - music entered a dark period in '77 ...
