I'm really excited about this. I can't wait to test it and I'm hoping it doesn't disappoint.

Not just a send/return loop, but one that works post-fader.

likely not as the routing of aux in/out could cause feedback in the main signal as they are not intended to sent out and have it return again...send/return loops in mixers are routed with the expectation that you will send a signal out and get it back to mix in to the main signal.

Yes and no

Yes the fx in external mode can be used post fader (select "send" as a state of the fx in traktor, and route the connexions appropriately), but it isn't dependent on Traktor, it's dependent on wether your mixer has a send/return fx loop that can be used postfader (rane ttms, pioneer 707, 909, djm 500, 600, 700, 800, etc...). Because the connexion has to be physical.

No if your mixer doesn't have a physical send/return (djm T1) and you are using traktor in external mode.

If you use aux as you main out, it would be just like putting the fx on the master

Meaning that any fx you would place there would affect the whole mix. It can be something interesting, but i believe for most people they'd rather have the fx individually for each channel since effecting the whole mix can turn quite ugly if you don't know what you are doing and you are just playing around.

what if you just use the auxilary out as your main out?

I believe the external mixing folks can also now use the filter to sends sweeps etc into the delay fx when post fader is on

I came up with a kind of work round for this that won't give you true post fader FX, but does replicate the same thing with a button. You need these 2 commands mapped:

And then another button mapped to turn flux mode off. If you have a delay (or any other effect) running, the track is effectively silence allowing the effect to trail off. Unfortunately if you set the Flux on function to 'hold', it turns off before jumping forward as you release.

It could also be the fact that everybody already knew this update would not bring that functionality. Pretty cheap shot at a community you participate in. Poor form.

Thats how i did mine earlier its pretty easy and i've never mapped a thing before. There a tutorial on the NI site.

U use add in, 'flux on' and set it to toggle. Then put an add out 'flux state' to make the led light up when its on. (as a bonus it lights up brighter when flux engages). I did both sides fx1 for deck a and fx2 for deck b

Now gotta try an work out if you can still use it like normal, (ie to turn effect on when in single mode) using shift+.

got some reading to do about mapping I believe.

Denon MC-6000. I've never used single mode, only group mode but yes you're probably right in that it turns on the effect, and then the other 3 buttons turn the different parameters on/off.
