I kind of feel as if he should have put this out under an alias.

Way too clean.

That autotuned sample makes me want to jump off something really high.

I didn't listen to this track, but big ups to Skrillex.
You know sonny was in a screamo band that did pretty decent right.. He definitely didnt start out at the bottom.

I guess the tone reflects it but it sounds nothing like what he produced in the past.

If this is a good bye track than this is one of the most forgettable I ever heard!

Hell it doesn't even sound like he produced this track!

In terms of energy, if I were to play this at a party the entire mix will be derailed.

Its gloomy, depressing, no energy, this sounds like something you would play at a funeral! Pardon the french.
lolololololololol U WOT M8 ?

I don't feel the track, it doesn't move me BUT still massive amounts of respect for skrillex. I believe it's great that artists broaden their horizons.

Definitely a skrillex track...alot of elements that sound like his style. He is still progressing which is good, I feel like deadmau5 fell off when he tried to expand his sounds.

I dislike Skrillex, but I have to respect him for getting results. With all the controversy surrounding the EDM scene and his music specifically though, I would have respected him more if he had stuck to the music he has been making. Not staying true to the expectations of your fans tells me that you have no respect for the music and you don't take yourself seriously. You don't see guitarists writing a country album, and then a punk rock album, and then a jazz album, I believe that production is the same. You have to refine your style, you have to really portray your take on the genre, and that takes commitment. Sure it's nice to step out once and a while, it's good to expand your knowledge and abilities, but being all over the map just serves to blur the image that defines you.

Perhaps in Europe, but not in the America's :'(

Yup, we're definitely not on different wavelengths....I love all those you mentioned. Deep Medi is probably my favorite label.

Skrillex deserves respect for trying something *very* different at this point in his career, but I honestly don't feel this track at all. It sounds like a shitty Burial parody (and I love Burial...).

I still recall his rant on Twitter ... "What the FOKK is a DROP???? Please stop saying that word!!"

I like this style. Definitely not what I'm used to or what I would have expected from him ... But I loved "Summit" and played it out a lot. This is kind of like that.

Hate him or love him ... his nerdy *ss can make some sexy ass noises when he wants to. And sexiness in general is tricky ... It's kind of a subliminal attribute. Some not so great looking people can surely be perceived as sexy just by how they are. I've never seen such an awkard looking creature ... emit the kind of sexiness FROM HIS MUSIC (it's present even in some of the harder stuff) than Skrillex does.

I don't get that hyper sexy swag vibe from this song posted ... But I would bet that he's got a couple of bangers on deck.

Well at least he's the artist that doesn't conform to what the fans expect from him...if that's a good thing or not.
