What do you guys believe of this? Seems like one amazing product, especially in the build quality department.

I dunno. IMO, you're just blowing a ton of money on a laptop that has specs beyond what you need simply for 'status', to have something as a cool fashion accessory rather than function.

I don't believe you're going to see a lot of these Razer Blades except for people who don't know what they're buying and people who have too much money.

It's the gaming model. Hence the nVidia, 1080 display. Refurb, but that doesn't bother me because its coming from them. I'll look up the exact model when I get home. I bookmarked it. Might bag it myself.

As previously said, i agree on the fact that most of their peripherals suck, excluding a couple.

But as someone who personally had the blade in hand, it's a machine.

Again, because of its build quality and overall sleakness.

I do, but it's just a pain in the back to do so, since i'm not at home and i'm using my old and slow phone

True that, even tho on a 128gb ssd creating a partition for gaming would be a waste of space.
Or just boot from an external hdd, usb3 is fast enough to handle an os running

If the build quality on a Razer notebook is twice as good as the build quality on their peripherals it will still be shit.

You razer fans can slag me as much as you want, I'm a returns manager in a computer store and their stuff is absolute garbage. I'm not even a fan of Apple but putting Razer in the same league is hilarious.
Try finding a blade to put your hands on and try to put aside your hate towards razer. Because it really is a wonderful machine.

And the 14" reportedly has a 6h battery life.

Sure, if you have a crapload of money at your disposal.
As i said, i was praising its build quality, not its ability to play games.

Haswell has an usb bug in the c1 step just as sandy had one with sata ports in its first iteration... So given that the c2 revision will be out in july, i'd say wait at least for september to buy anything haswell, that's what i'll do, you don't want your usbs failing on ya just a couple months after you bought the computer dontya

Now THAT is a flimsy laptop. The keyboard is extremely shallow and the one i tried at the store already had a cracked screen..

As i mentioned before, the keyboard is not that good, but the trackpad damn well is! And early reviews praise the non-switchblade trackpad of the 14" as extremely precise and responsive.

Although i do game sometimes on my desktop, i wouldn't really have as much as an experience on a laptop. So no, the gpu wouldn't be a selling point for me. Still, much better built than some other gaming laptops

the only complaint i had about the older model was it being a 17", seems like they managed to shrink the thing quite a bit.
And the speakers sound tinny
And the keyboard isn't as nice as the mbp

Still, these are really non-vital features, except if you're a heavy typist..

Can't even count how many of their mice I had bought that would always fall apart. I don't know why I kept buying them as long as I did.

Considering the already fantastic build of the blade, it surely hasn't decreased since then.
