Help with Vestax pmc-05 II rca phono jacks
Posted on: 22.07.2013 by Moira Manez
I need some of your guys is advice I acquired a vestax pmc-05 II mixer for about $20 bucks with out even testing the mixer. I know that was kind of dumb of me but I figured i can still sell it for parts if it doesn't work make my money back that way. Well it did not work for me the rca phono and line inputs and outs are missing the gold caps on them to secure the rca cables in place. My question to you guys is it worth fixing this mixer or just selling it for parts? Thanks in advance for the help Dj TechTools you guys are the best you have taught me a lot over the years thanks.

Its a really common issue with these old vestax's - Fix it and you got yourself a real bargain!

*edit*

Its a regular 05 right ? and not an 05 pro ..... :-s if it costs less than another $20 to repair I'd get it done otherwise.... well I dunno really.

Fix it.

The pmc-05 mixers are a staple in the hip-hop/turntablist scene. It's worth it for $20 + the cost of repair.
