Speaker setups?

I have a question for all the DJ's in here it's about speaker setups. Why don't DJ's use studio monitors to play at small venues like stores & restaurants? I feel that most DJ's bring huge speakers and it just overwhelms the environment. Is there a reason why DJ's don't use KRK's or M-Audio studio monitors? | |
