Looking to enhance our party house
Looking to enhance our party house Posted on: 08.08.2013 by Riva Ishiyama Hello everyone,My fraternity is looking to add some things to our party house. At the moment we have a DJ booth, a few lasers, and a fog machine. I'll be on of the djs using a trkator s4 and the other is using cdj 850s with a djm 850. I'm still looking on the community s to buy one so for now we just have the cdjs. We have speakers but we might be looking to upgrade them, at the moment i'm not sure what we have. Does anyone have any advice on little things we can do to make the party experience better or on speakers to use for house parties with a bass? Any and all advice is appreciated. Thank you for reading | |

My friend got the sub for $769 and the two Behringers for $279 each a few months ago. > |
Augustine Mitzen 10.08.2013 | seriously though, that would mostly depend on the size of the room |
Riva Ishiyama 09.08.2013 | Anyone have any suggestions on what kind of subs to get? |
Augustine Mitzen 09.08.2013 | yeah i know, sorry for that :P |
Margaretta Hebenstreit 10.08.2013 | Yeah i thought we were clear that subs are needed, felt no need in writing it down a 10th time |
Augustine Mitzen 09.08.2013 | subs are even better than confetti guns when the bass drops teehee |
Margaretta Hebenstreit 09.08.2013 | Confetti guns! But don't overuse them. Had 4 for an 8 hour poolparty and it surely helps to hype the crowd for a short time if they're shot right at the moment when the bass drops |

Now that you've successfully taken light from the picture, its your time to deafen them for your stupid and ugly frat bros. For that, I agree get SUBS |
Ethel Feigum 08.08.2013 | A big bowl of condoms. |
Stephenie Liloia 08.08.2013 | Without hitting your lower frequencies it really is not music. EDM requires your low end alongside your mids and highs. I would take a good stereo over visuals any day. |
Riva Ishiyama 08.08.2013 | Ya know after talking with the guys we're going to put in a stripper pole thanks for the idea P4ULSON!! |
Arnulfo Morten 08.08.2013 | 2 gogo dancing stages with 2 poles on each side of the dj booth mine havn't failed yet :P here's how to make em for $50 http://www.instructables.com/id/DIY-...-not-included/ |
Yong Aptekar 08.08.2013 | foam beanbag chairs uv reactive glasses and shot glasses fog machines wait, this is the first time a Frat brother has asked me for advice on partying. Thanks Bro! |
Riva Ishiyama 08.08.2013 | Thanks for all the replies guys. Do you have any suggestions for subs? Not looking to break the bank on buying one but also don't want to cheap out and buy a crappy one. Also what's the difference between a haze machine and a fog machine? |
Hellen Mindrup 08.08.2013 | Can I come party? |
Lillia Datson 08.08.2013 | UV Strip lighting, and it sounds naff, but some LED multicolour fairy lights are cheap but pretty effective lighting. |
Brunilda Kora 08.08.2013 | Blackout curtains and a strobe. + red lasers. + green lasers. |
Cira Swanda 08.08.2013 | I hate to restate the obvious, but 100% true on the subs, that is a necessity. If you have the funds, a hazer works much better than fog machines. A cheap and very effective tip was to replace all the light bulbs with colored bulbs. Every room of the house was a mixture or red, blue, green, and black light. It would dim the house while adding tons of color, without breaking the bank. |
Augustine Mitzen 08.08.2013 | you can't put man in a room with no subwoofers |
Lannie Kutay 08.08.2013 | Subwoofers.....gotta have em |
