I love playing anything with an infectious groove. Depending on the event and venue in question, I might play deep house, techno, jazz, nu-disco, progressive house, or even some (real) hip-hop. There is a haze... a miasma that hangs around me, completely unseen, or smelled, but felt like some kind of specter. There are a few people here, who wander around never seeing what is around them. It makes a person wonder, Am I alive? Is this hell? Oh wait, I'm surrounded by corn and rust. This is ohio. as for music there's 2 different groupings here, What I listen to, and what I actually make. They're totally different things. I don't listen to the type of music that I make, and I can't seem to make the type of music that I like. It is quite the dilemma. What I listen to is a very wide variety ranging from industrial rock, to happy hardcore, and including things that I don't know how to classify. but I don't like rap or country because of 90% of the subject matter. the only DAW I have ever been really comfortable using has been FL Studio, and currently the only gear I have is an m-audio keyboard of some kind, and an accoustic/electric guitar. Planning on picking up a launchpad and one of those korg nano-controll things so I can have some physical connection to what i'm doing. aaand I'm probably only gonna pop in time to time for questions/comments. Also at some point once I get the hang of fingerdrumming, I plan on making a soundpack or two to give out, but that wouldn't be till summer. TL : DR - Miles, ohio, pretty much anything. |
