DJ-SWAP™ - Trading Places

DJ-SWAP™ is a new free service for up-and-coming DJs, who want to travel the world as a performing DJ. There is nothing more exotic for a resident DJ than to try out his skills in a new club, in a new city, or even a new country

For many DJs it is very difficult to get booked for such jobs. There are many reasons for this. Often it can be local clubs who can't afford to pay for travelling and accommodation costs for out-of-town DJs and therefore sticks to using a local resident DJ. And for the DJs it can often be a problem to demonstrate that they really possess adequate experience and skills to play in a club, and therefore have difficulty getting booked. The purpose of DJ-SWAP™ is to reduce the cost and risk of all parties: clubs, DJs, and finally the customers/clubbers.

Here is how it works: You simply find a DJ somewhere else in the same situation like you. Somewhere there is another DJ who would love to come to spin some tunes in your club just as much as you would love to play in his. Even just for a night, or for a longer period.  Here is the cool thing: The local resident DJ will speak to his own club manager and it will get much easier for you to get the idea pitched and accepted. Maybe you can even agree to make the clubs pay part of the travelling and accommodation costs – everything is possible when you have someone familiar to the club doing the talking.

We do not charge any percentage or fees from making the connection from either the DJ or the venue, and using our service and DJ-SWAP™ portal is absolutely free. The agreement is strictly DJ to DJ, or DJ to CLUBS to DJ. We also do not take any responsibility for how it turns out, but really, just have some faith - try it, what is the worst that can happen?

Start here, if you have not already signed up with a profile, you need to do that first.
