Biography
Sasha Le Monnier is from Jersey, Channel Islands a dj of 14 years who has successfully run and co-managed 4 nights over the years in her native island. Her flawless mixing and superb track selection also taking her further afield with dates in Europe, U.S.A as well as London playing clubs like Ministry Of Sound, Kiss Nightclub and The Code’ [ Subotica – Serbia] a gig that was covered by 2 magazine interviews and a television interview. She’s played at Festivals like Jersey Live and Mass Electronic Music Festival and also an after party gig @ The Exit Festival [ Novi Sad ]. June 2011, Australia felt her presence with a tour playing clubs like Chinese Laundry,My Aeon,BarSoma,Kings Cross hotel and more, where two of the nights whilst there, she warmed up for Guy J [ Bedrock ] She is a rising star within the scene and a definite talent to look out for!
Her work as artist C.O.U. Muzik has seen many a release to date with both originals and remixes working alongside names such as Matt Rowan , Sven Hauck , Ben Coda , Chloe Harris , Seb Dhajje ,Ogi Gee Cash & Synchronized , Jeff Devas , Maxi Valvona aka Ad Brown , Darin Epsilon , Santerna & Marcie , Jacco@work , Matias Popoff , Native , Kris B & Nosmo, Royal Sapien and also The Chrono Logic.
In 2010 Sasha debut her first solo production on Source Of Gravity Digital with more release to follow since on labels like WeContinue Digital, Tactal Hots Music and also Stripped Digital with top support coming from Nick Warren,Hernan Cattaneo,Ken Fen,Kassey Voorn,Andy Newland,Luciano,Seb Dehajje,Kevin Shiu,Omid16B,Michael Paterson,Graham Gold,Tini Tun,Homegroove,Raymundo Rodriguez,Justin Steel,Grant Paterson,Miss Crazy D,Yamil Colucci,Deepfunk,Gavyn Mytchel,Cid Inc to name but a few! More releases are lined up in the coming months with her remixes of ‘Jonah’ on Celestial Recordings and also ‘Snowdaze’ on Polytechnic Recordings and also a remix for Voco Records with Simon Firth’s ‘Space Junk’ track. Currently Sasha is working an a remix for the band ‘No More Navigators’ a band that was main support for the Camden Proud ‘End of Summer Festival’ in August. The EP ‘Home’ will see dance music remixes released on Tactal Hots Music Envoirment around of Nov/Dec. -2011
