Jason Herd is one of the most recognized names in vocal dance music. He has gained worldwide acclaim with his four releases on Erick Morillo’s Subliminal Records, especially his worldwide hit Herd & Fitz Featuring Abigail Bailey “I Just Can’t Get Enough” which was a worldwide commercial hit and was A-listed on Radio One UK for four weeks, all this alongside upto 30 releases an his own labels JSoul and JFunk.
Since then Jason has been selective with his releases on Subliminal, Hed Kandi and most recently with his Ibiza anthem on CR2 alongside Roland Clarke “I Feel Good”. His track “My Girl” was a huge club hit with over 100,000 plays on myspace.
Jason has his next release forthcoming in 2011 featuring The Bleachworks on Subliminal Records which has already been a firm favourite with head honcho Erick Morillo and is tipped to be one of this years summer anthems.
In 2005 Jason was shortlisted to the final five of Best Newcomer Producers alongside Steve Angello and Axwell in The House Music Awards. Most recently Jason graced the cover of DJ Mag with his mix CD and a three page spread covering his label JFunks releases and starred vocalists Steve Edwards, Lisa Millett, Rita Campbell, Katherine Ellis and Abigail Bailey.
Jason has been the first DJ of choice for Dolce & Gabbana on their Milan Catwalks, Fashion Week Parties, Cannes Film Festival and hosted their 20th Anniversary with disco legend Donna Summer. His ability to adapt his music before and during gigs made him their No1 choice for DJing and producing and programming music for their fashion shows worldwide.

Now more renowned for his productions, Jason has been one of the UK’s most respected DJ’s for the past sixteen years. His residencies say it all, Subliminal Sessions, Sankeys, Gods Kitchen, Gatecrasher and his own night 2Risque which was Manchester’s main vocal house night for five years.
He has DJ’d at the world’s finest clubs and festivals including Global Gathering, Creamfields, Space Ibiza, Pacha Ibiza, Amnesia Ibiza, Stereosonic Festivals Australia, One Love Australia, Redlight Paris, Space Miami, Toolroom Knights and Pacha Brazil to name a few.
Jason adapts his sets to the crowds but expect lots of his own personal edits, mash ups, Accapellas and fx, but most of all expect a sets full of energy and hands in the air.
