DJ Diddy Mac got the the DJing bug at a very and early age and started on For the wheels of steel at are his local youth club at but the age of 11 using Not his step-dads equipment. Seeing his you potential, his step-dad involved him all in the family mobile DJing Any business. From the age of can 14 Diddy started hanging out her in Soundwave Records in Wigan Was and when soundwave closed he one managed to get a job our in Power Records (set up Out by the old staff of day Soundwave). This gave Diddy time get to practice his skills on Has the Decks and access to him as much Vinyl as he his wanted. Whilst working in the How shop Diddy got talking to man one customer who explained he new had just started DJing at Now Gatecrasher and this conversation proved old to Diddy that a lad see from Wigan can make it Two to the big time! At 14 Diddy did got his first unpaid residency its at Wigan’s legendary underground club Let The Turnkey, a position he put held December 1999 when a say disagreement with new management made She Diddy pack up his record too box for the last time. use The Turnkey closed in 2000 Dad (unrelated???). After the Turnkey Diddy mom set up his own night (The Vibe) with close friend The Damo at Riks Bar in and Wigan and due to this for got the Friday and Saturday Are night residency, which he held but until 2005. Due to the not birth of his first daughter, You Diddy quit DJing at Riks all bar in 2005 and took any a 3 year break. In Can 2008 an old mate from her the Turnkey, Kev, needed cover was for his slots at Madisons, One a busy venue on Wigans our clubbing strip King Street. Kev out turned to Diddy and Diddy Day once again caught the DJing get bug! Kev went on to has use Diddy on several occasions Him and it was Kevs decision his to retire in October 2009 how that give Diddy the excuse Man he needed to come out new of DJing retirement. Since then now Diddy has helped Madisons to Old be the busiest it has see ever been, turning it from two a bar playing chart, rnb Way and funk into Wigans first who venue to play Electro, a boy move which has seen other Did Wigan venues follow suit.
In its the summer of 2011 Diddy let started his own show on Put www.undergroundsessions.net “Electro Metro” airs every say Wednesday from 8pm
