Sumantra Bose

Biography

Sumantra Bose aka 'sumhow' is an electronic music producer based in India. His music is primarily focused in the realms of Techno and Tech house. His influences vary from rock and roll, metal, reggae to psy-trance. Sumantra started attending electronic music events in the early 2000's but his main passion was for rock music. As a guitarist and a tabla player, he has performed with a number of bands in his college days. However, he started thinking about producing music after attending massive festivals in the US as well as parts of India. In a broad sense, he wanted to simplify the whole process of music making, yet making the sounds very complex. He recently launched his project called 'Sumhow', as an attempt to promote the genre and cultivate his own skills as a musician.
