Biography

Fabio De Leonardis, aka Sickwave, is born on May 1989 in Taranto (Italy). Since his early age, he was fascinated by the world of music. Attracted by the minimal and techno / tech house sounds, he started to be interested in this new world. As a producer, he has been active since 2008 under the nickname of "Fabio DL", with productions that are always part of his growth as a musician. (He produced genre like Techno, tech house and minimal). In 2012 he immediately started to attract the attention of several other labels with a most successful. It was then, that the name of "Sickwave" started to be well known all over the world. As a producer, he has definitely outstanded and has earned great recognition. His tracks havebeen played in the best known dance floors and have been supported by the best dj's at the moment and also have been included in the main charts in the best digital music shops. His influence in regards with minimal, techno / tech house are artist like Ahmet Sendil, Umek, Koen Groeneveld, Dandi & Ugo, Mark Denken, Konstantin Yoodza, Da Fresh. He has produced for the most important minimal and techno labels around the world such as Human Garden Music, Flat Belly Recordings, Hamburg Aufnahmen, Clorophilla Records, Rabies Records, Boshporus Underground Recordings (the label of legendary Ahmet Sendil) etc…" At the moment it is being opened of its own brand "Younique Records".
