Biography

Introduction & Djing Career DJ VITAL, one of the most popular DJs of Nepal and a synonymous name in the club circuits of Nepal and abroad is well known for his uniquely original style of mixing music. He has been into the field of Djing for almost two decades as of now, has performed in some of the most exclusive venues, clubs, five star hotels back home in his native land Nepal and in foreign countries like England and India. He has done residencies in quite a few clubs and lounges as well and has played in thousands of headliner gigs with a loyal crowd and regular fan followings. Production & Remixing In addition, he happens to be one of the best EDM music producers and remixers around with years of dedication in the field. By using his utmost skills, he has produced an album named “ETERNITY-The Ethnotronic Journey” which is branded by SAARC (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation), that made him a first ever DJ of the region to release an album being branded by SAARC. Collaborations This versatile DJ has collaborated with many artists around the globe among which Graeme Hamilton (former band member of UB40, England) comes in the first place, with whom he has performed in many Gigs and associated in several music productions as well. Turntablism and Controllerism DJ VITAL has spent many years, polishing his craft, blending different genres of music together and refining the art of SCRATCHING which has made him one of the finest Scratch DJs of the sub-continent. His eclectic track selection, personal style and versatile mixing techniques captivate the crowd during live performances. He is by now, one of the most sought after DJs in Nepal. Presumably, he is the first dj to introduce the art of controllerism in Nepal. Sound Designing Due to his skills in sound designing, he has been showered with fame and a star DJ status nationally and internationally by being a part of a major fashion shows. He has designed the sound for international fashion designers like Karen Scheinecker (Australia), Graham Hollick (England), Yuki Toda (Japan) etc., along with many national fashion houses cum designers as well as during various Fashion Walks. He has successfully designed the sound for ROSARINI (International brand launch fashion walk), BASIC (International brand Fashion Show), ANANTA "The enchanting weave" by SABAH (SAARC Business Association of Home Based Workers, brainchild of SAARC Development Fund, Home Net South Asia and SEWA TFC ), The Craft Walk (ninth annual Handicraft Trade Fair). Currently he is the official sound designer for Miss Nepal after having worked for the pageant consecutively for the last two years during the MISS NEPAL 2012 Beauty Pageant and Fanta Hidden Treasure Miss Nepal 2013. Brand Ambassador Currently the Brand Ambassador of the Dance4life Foundation for Nepal. His music library spans nearly every genre of club music adding an entirely new demographic to quality dance music.
