Biography

DJ Francis James is an emerging Electronic Music Artist & DJ with 20+ years of industry experience. He is a music specialist that makes every event special and unique from the rest. Originally from Philadelphia and New York City areas, and now residing in Western Germany, he spent much of his youth engulfed in music which quickly became his passion and joy. He learned that his versatility and knowledge of music were both an asset and the key to attracting large audiences onto the dance floor in any setting. He was taught by some of the best known DJ's within the tri-state region (Philadelphia, NYC and Atlantic City) which had extensive DJ residencies and radio shows in the early 1990's. Over the years he has worked in major nightclubs in Philadelphia, New York City & Atlantic City where he was a Friday night resident at one of the biggest nightclubs in Philadelphia in the late-1990's (Egypt Nightclub). Many other guest DJ appearances soon followed in New York City, Atlantic City, Dallas & Miami. In addition, he has been involved with countless DJ expos including guest DJ sets at the prestigious Winter Music Conference in Miami. He has had countless radio shows that have been broadcasted worldwide on various internet radio stations under different DJ aliases. He is also an emerging music producer who has released some of his older productions on a global scale on websites such as Beatport (USA) and Juno Records out of the UK. In 2016 he had the opportunity to open for some of the biggest names in electronic dance music such as Alex M.O.R.P.H. and one of Armin Van Buuren's legendary trance singers--Susana from Amsterdam. In recent times, he has reinvented himself and has found his sound. His radio show entitled: Deep State Sessions has been gaining popularity worldwide and is currently broadcasted in over (4) countries featuring his signature sounds of melodic progressive house music. He is also working on new track productions that promise to take the underground dance music world by storm! For Francis, it is all about the music and the people that support him!
