Biography

Real names Kitaka Rogers, he is popularly known as DJ Roja, an engineer by profession with an ordinary diploma in mechanical engineering, majoring in refrigeration and air conditioning. DJ Roja started his entertainment profession from a local pub in his home area of Kitintale a Kampala Suburb in a place called Skylark pub. Dj Roja was at Skylark pub in 2009 and here he attained some good startup skills that motivated him to move on. After Skylark pub, DJ Roja moved on to discover his life potentials and joined another happening place in Bugolobi working as a learner using a basic Dj program called PCDJ red. Later on, DJ roja joined Blu Haze in 2010. Dj Roja was at Blu haze for about 6 months before he moved to his next destination. Blu Haze was located in Nakasero next to Steak out, a popular hangout for local celebrities and students. Later in 2010, DJ Roja joined Club Rouge as a resident Disc Joker and he has been there till now (2012). At club Rouge, DJ Roja presents on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. DJ Roja mainly uses Serato scratch live applications; he is good at turn tables and majorly entertains his followers with music in categories such as hip hop, RnB, back to back music, gangster old skul, dancehall, house, garage, African house, techno and more. DJ Roja enjoys watching movies and football, playing soccer, listening to music, swimming, boat cruising, and parting with my friends. dj roja has played in various partts ov the country.en he is also set represent ugandan djs in other african countries and the world at large..GOD on his side..en the sky is the limit
