Harris Voulgarakis

Biography

Harvee, also known as Harris Voulgarakis, was born and grew up in Athens, Greece. He started Djing in 1991 at the age of just 13 years old "stirring" vinyls at high school parties and in 1993 he started professionally. In the mid 90s, the golden age of the electronic dance scene in Greece, Harris was one of the youngest DJ/Party organizers and promoters and was only 17 years old. He played at some of the most successful and legendary clubs in Athens (Amazon, Buzios, Unterwear, Passa, Berlin, Camel, Battery, Alsos). He was involved as an external partner and consultant regarding music matters and nightlife for popular Greek magazines (Flash, Down Town, Nitro, 01, Lemon, Diva, Colt, Max). He has been active on decks for over 20 years, in which time he has had numerous collaborations, successful performances and DJ residencies in famous venues in Athens and throughout Greece and has performed alongside well known names of the international dance scene such as Jam & Spoon, Colin Faver, CJ Bolland, LTJ Bukem , Robert Owens, Ron Carroll, Who Da Funk, Milk & Sugar, Antoine Clamaran, Sandy Rivera and many others. Last but not least, Harris is currently transmitting his vibes worldwide, presenting DJ Set Radio Shows occasionally for popular Greek radio stations (Athens Nitro Radio 102,5, UP Radio, Radio Must Athens, Record On). From early 2016, Harris continues working for more quality dance music and new projects as well as music production, under his new alias: Harvee
