Biography

DJ Pez is a U.S. based DJ originally from the live music capital Austin, Texas. DJ Pez moved to Florida to study art and music at the University of Tampa. It was the unique Tampa music scene that helped further develop his love and style of EDM along with influences from artists like Paul Oakenfold, Paul Van Dyke, Tiësto, Christopher Lawrence, John Digweed, Ferry Corsten, DJ Sasha, DJ Micro, DJ Laz (King of Miami Bass) and DJ Icey. DJ Pez, real name Jonathan Lopez, is a musician, artist, and athlete. Recently named one of the most influential DJ’s of 2015 DJ Pez uses an unforgettable mix of styles including rhythmic power house, tech-infused future house, and high-energy electro house to create a uniquely blended musical journey of the mind, body, and spirit.
