    DJ-SKY was born and raised in Vancouver, BC by English parents. At the early age of 16 he started playing at house party's due to his extensive music collection. DJ-SKY spins hot & fresh dance tracks from a variety of genres: House, Electro, Dutch, Club Anthem, Dance Remix, Mashups, Old Skool and Dubstep or whatever is going to move the crowd. He is renown for spinning some of the most unique mixes and Mashups to wow the audience. DJ-SKY has played at events featuring internationally renown and local headliners: Belly, Sweatshop Union, The Kiltlifters, Grady, The Turn, Loot, SirReal . DJ-SKY has been the Resident DJ @ The Rec Room in Parksville & the Resident DJ @ Club Malibu & Spice Lounge & The Press Room & The Palace Hotel here in Nanaimo. DJ-SKY was the former host of the radio shows, "Retro Rewind" & "Sky's The Limit" on CHLY 101.7 FM here in Nanaimo BC. Canada. He is also a trained Sound Engineer, so sound quality is always an issue. He is a huge Canadian Music supporter. When he hosted his radio shows, his CANCON (Canadian Content) for those who don't know, was always 50% to 75% even though he only had to play 35%! With his co-host, DJ-SKIDDER on the radio show "Retro Rewind", he had the honour to compete in the very first Body Gras competition here in Nanaimo. Body Gras is a "Body Painting" competition. They actually entered as a joke to help promote their show. To cut a long story short, they went on to win the whole event. In the 80's & early 90's, he worked on a bunch of TV shows shot in Vancouver including "21 Jump Street" staring a very young Johnny Depp. "WiseGuy" the spin off show from 21 Jump Street with Ken Wahl. "Highlander, The Series". Also a few movies.
