**DJ Hellraiser: Shaping the Soundwaves of Acid Music and Hard Techno** Hailing from the vibrant city of Melbourne/Naarm, Australia, DJ Hellraiser stands as a stalwart figure in the electronic music scene, renowned for his unwavering dedication to acid music, hard techno, hardcore, and all other harder edged styles of electronic dance music. With a career spanning over three decades, Hellraiser's journey has been a testament to his relentless pursuit of pushing musical boundaries and championing underground sounds. From his solo endeavors beginning professionally in 1993, Hellraiser has solidified his position as a formidable force in the global electronic music landscape. With ten hit mix CDs, appearances on two DVDs, and an enigmatic and freakish stage persona drawn from infamous figures in metal, his eclectic sets, spine-shattering performances, and boundless energy have captivated audiences worldwide, earning him recognition as an icon within the industry. In 2016, a serendipitous bond formed between Hellraiser and Jack Wax, a renowned Dutch DJ, producer, and the innovator and owner of Flatlife Records. This connection led to Hellraiser's integral role within the Flatlife Records family, assuming various roles as an official Australian representative, DJ, producer, PR Manager, and "promo beast." Together with Jack Wax, they created Flatlife Australia, dedicated to spreading the Flatlife Records passion for all things acid and hard techno throughout Melbourne/Naarm and across Australia. The birth of Hellraiser's label, Tension Music, stems from Jack Wax's belief in his unwavering vision, passion, and dedication. Tension Music became an official sub-label of Flatlife Records in 2019, focusing on darker and harder acid and techno styles synonymous with Hellraiser's career. Tension Music has also now had huge underground sold out releases from artists including ADN, Ruffneck Prime (aka DJ Ruffneck), AnD, Chris Liberator, Jack Wax, "Bad Boy" Pete, Dica, The Southside Warriors, Marcio M., Tassid, David Oblivion, DSTM, and many others including some amazing releases coming up on the imprint. Additionally, Hellraiser forms one half of the renowned hard acidic techno duo ADN (ex Ad Nauseam), alongside his close friend Ben aka the Engineer. Their music has graced esteemed labels such as Flatlife Records, We Are Acid Family, and Zodiak Commune Records. The duo also recently had the honor of remixing Italian electronic music pioneer Mauro Picotto's iconic hit "The Twilight Zone" on Alchemy Records. Beyond his musical endeavors, Hellraiser's commitment to fostering collaboration and inclusivity within the electronic music scene is unwavering. Since the early days of his career, he has been a staunch advocate for supporting local talent, teaching aspiring DJs during the 90s, as well as advocating for more female representation on DJ lineups.
