Carlos Tarifeno

Biography

Carlos Tarifeno is a Swedish Dj and Producer. Carlos started mixing music at an early age on two old record players and an old mixer that he had got as a gift. He started playing at small private parties and school parties. 1990-1994 were when Carlos showed what he was made of at night clubs and other events in Stockholm, Sweden. The genre changed from one weekend to the other. You could here him play salsa and hip hop mixed with house from Detroit. By the end of1994 Carlos was introduced to the rave culture. This marked a turning point in his taste in music and he started mixing rave and hardcore techno at events that weren't appreciated by the authorities. 1994-1998 Carlos only mixed electronic music. 1998-2007 Carlos disappeared from the clubs. His interest in music remained but he didn't play outside his home studio. In 2008 his desire to play returned, and he also started to produce his own material. Through trial and error he finally found a music program that would let him create beats. 2009-2013 Carlos has gathered an impressive collection of music and he started working with Traktor Pro together with record players to get that 90's feeling! In 2014 Carlos started using social media for mixing tutorials and to reach out to the public with his own material. Through a site called Soundcloud he was approached by French House Digital, a French record company that wanted to sign him. Today Carlos has launched three productions under his new record company and he is currently working on twelve new productions that will be available to the public through social media soon.
