There weren't as many labels out there at the time, and it took a bit longer than it would take you today. Sadly I feel the market is getting over saturated with labels. Most people can talk a distributor into taking them on. Teggno only deals in direct contact with beatport. We used to also deal directly with the other markets as well, but I found there just wasn't enough sales to make it worth selling there. I do have my gripes about beatport, but that is the most profitable for Teggno when selling right now, we reach the most people that are buying the techno i release on my labels. I may soon go back to releasing on other markets, haven't decided just yet.
