Mainly I'm looking for tips as to how to market my gigs in NYC in Vegas to start off since I wont have any kind of following out there to start.I'm sure many of you have had the same thing before so any advice would be great. | Esperanza Neighbor 02.06.2012 | I would suggest looking for DJs who would let you play an opening set for them. If you're great at it, it'll give you a chance to play larger clubs. |
| Larae Knifong 01.06.2012 | I found it easier to move to new cities when you travel and connect with other DJ's. I always visited clubs when I travelled and tried getting 10min guest spots. Also, going to NAMM, BPM Show and Musikmesse (etc.) to make these connections. When you're in the circle it's pretty easy. Plus, finding free accommodations with resident DJs around the world is always a plus. ....Oh yah, and don't forget about Ibiza |
