I'm not sure of any kind of desks that you could use for DJ'ing, that won't cost at least a few of hundred dollars. Ideally you want your gear to be at your belly button level when you're standing at the table.

EDIT: looks like Musicians Friend has a few things that might be what you need if you're okay with sitting.

I got a kitchen island type table from a second hand store for $20 that fits a laptop, controller, midifighter and a monitor. It works for me and was dirt cheap. The only thing I want to mod on it is putting the monitor on a stand.

I always used folding tables on cinderblocks until I switched to an Ikea Expedit on cinder blocks.

Some random ones I believe are kinda cool:

And this one is my favorite based on looks: http://www.decks.co.uk/products/Deck...kpit_Deluxe_XS
I really want to build a clone of it.

I don't there is anything wrong with buying a premade stand if you don't want the hassle and want something nice- but doesn't really make sense for just an S2 and monitors. Makes sense if you want some slick looking flush mounted decks and mixer but is kind of silly for an S2 and I don't know what you would buy.

I live in the uk and trust me its a lot easier and cheaper to build one yourself.

just go ikea or order online.

If you have never built one before dont worry its easy, and there are so many threads on this community about ikea mods
you will have all the help you need.

and with the money you save you can put it towards something else.

I recommend to design one yourself and have someone else to build it (provided you have a good friend with tools). Just take a look at the recommended stuff here and get some ideas. It will be cheaper and just what you need/want.

Well if you want one of the nice prebuilt DJ stands prepare to pay $1500+

I thought about getting one of these at one point and they are reasonably priced

http://www.dexdjstands.com.au/

Shipping/import is just a pain

actually looks like they have a US distributor now so not a huge deal, scroll down

http://www.djdeals.com/stands.htm

edit: just saw it was for an s2 so that's all overkill

just look through there you may find something
