Does China make fake Sony MDR headphones? Posted on: 09.06.2012 by Darlene Strohbeck Just curious, because there's Sony MDR 7506 cans on ebay for $55 but I'd be lying if I didn't say that the fact that they're coming from "China" has me worried that they're fakes.http://www.ebay.ca/itm/SONY-MDR-7506...#ht_832wt_1139 | |

They were $5 and I figured they couldn't mess up a pair of ear pads that badly. I was wrong- the pads are way too small and don't even fit at all. They are flat and completely useless. china left, original right china pads on top of the headphones, no way they will fit |

Rolanda Clodfelder 11.06.2012 | Back on topic: Yes there is fake Sony MDR's They sound shit, don't buy them, don't be scammed, only buy headphones from a reputable dealer. Simple |
Jonathan Chiuchiolo 11.06.2012 | lol, it's just an extreme example of the price of headphones, I wouldn't pay that much... But i have had pioneer hdj1000 x 3 (I was a fanboy), denon hc1000, numark something, stanton something... I should have just got hd's as they don't really brake because they are made from very elastic plastic plus everything is replaceable on them and they sound fantastic. |

And headphones rarely last more than a year without glue and gaffer tape so it definately adds up to a lot over a dj career. |

In an old post ages ago I'd decided to buy a pair of beats Tour knockoffs, basically because they sounded decent for my iPod and were ridiculously inexpensive and sounded better than a $10 set headphones from anyone else. BUT I went through about 15 sets of them in a local electronics market until i found a set that did not have any defects, issues with the sound, all the correct accessories (earbud sizes, cable types etc). I HAVE tried all the knockoffs of the sonys, pioneers, over ears and all were shitty+1. |
Janella Gripe 10.06.2012 | A good advice: Don't buy the fake ones. You can believe you buy the same for a cheaper price, but the quality of fake headphones isn't good. So you won't regret it to buy real, good headphone's |
Joesph Kasian 10.06.2012 | 5 years ago my then-housemate bought the same headphones for the same price - they are absolutely awful fakes; hard leather, bad sound quality and an overall feeling of piss-poor build. Steer clear. |

Latoria Kavulich 10.06.2012 | watch out for mdr700's especially as they are discontinued |
Danae Dumler 10.06.2012 | why is it people selling fakes like that still get 100% positive feedback on ebay? |
Antonetta Wikel 09.06.2012 | China makes knock offs of EVERYTHING BTW. |

Romelia Stankard 09.06.2012 | Yes they do and you can bet those are fake. They make fake sony 700s, 7506s, v6s, pioneer hdj-1000s. Hell there are even some really convincing fake HDJ-2000s with cast metal frames and hinges on ebay. |
