This specific video is one of the things that really got me into DJing, and taking it further than a hobby (sadly, I don't own TTs at the moment..)
AAAAND thats the interview thing I was talking about.
But the this vid is only 50secs long. The one I saw, he goes on and on.

His cat also comes and lies on his mixer.

edit: afaik anyway, i seen a sick routine by him on serato's page and just assuming its that one since i cant click the link at work

I was talking about the interview I saw him in previously...where he had a custom pressing.

The latest vid was OBVIOUS audio files...LOL

I was like DAMN dude.

BUT...its a custom pressing. He obviously makes his own audio tracks with his bits and bobs in em...for the routine.

im still in awe with the video, what trip me out about this set was he was nervous during the 1/2 half of the video. you can see his hands shaking, I was like OH NO!

I also ask my 6 year old daughter what routine was better, Mix Master Mikes or Craze Im A MF Monster. She declined to comment.

As long as he knows what each of his cue points are, he's able to improvise.

I saw him at a festival last year and didn't know what to expect, I hadn't seen or heard anything from him since Scratch so I had no idea what he was going to bring to a festival. And where I'm from I wasn't sure it was going to fly if it was anything other then top 40/party rock stuff. He ripped the craziest dub step/electro set I've ever seen and the crowd loved it.

I believe he should get even more credit for his pressings/custom tracks that he makes. I'd love to see how he comes up with his tracks. Even though he said he doesn't do any planning in the video clearly he's gotta have some way of deciding certain things could go int a track together and throwing in parts where he can do some crazy scratching.

Definietly not a custom pressing. I just love the way he totally ignore the visuals - proper, PROPER old school. He knows the cue points off by heart, and doesn't need th ereassurance of seeingthe waveform jump.

Just like th eold school cues - splicing tape on the record!

Huh?

Are we all watching his routine vid here?

Saw nothing to do with a DAW.....

I see there are 2 vids. The one at the top of the page and one at the bottom. The one at the bottom is 5 mins of him and his routine.
Leeanna Ayla

Yeah there wasn't much to do with him DJ'ing just some quick cuts of him scratching and that DAW was featured more than Serato in the video. I'm not knocking the video, it was great. Just not a technical feature of him scratching or what the software can do. It was exactly what it was supposed to be and it was done very well.
Lilliana Perris

I believe he meant DJing...not scratching.
