Traktor
Traktor Posted on: 18.06.2012 by Laurinda Menagh Hi everyone,I have always classified myself as a Serato DJ however I recently bought a MIDI controller which uses Traktor natively. I am still getting the hang of Traktor. I know when I use Serato I can use the keyboard to search for artist/tracks without the search box. I've noticed that this is different with Traktor. Is it possible to disable the keyboard commands with Traktor and use the keyboard to search for artist/songs? I hope I this makes sense! Cheers, DM | |

Halley Wurzer 18.06.2012 | Preferences -> controller manager -> default generic keyboard mapping. Make in-port "none." |
Laurinda Menagh 18.06.2012 | Thanks for the prompt answer Jester. Unless you use the search box in the tree menu, using the keyboard can potentially stop a track or something else. I was hoping that there might have an easy way to do this! I guess I have using Serato for so many years that this is part of the pain of changing software. Cheers, DM |

s mate in answer to your question, yes you can search for songs in traktor, there is a search box in the tree menu, and you can also change any of the keyboard commands to your own preference. |
