Death Grips and similair music Posted on: 25.06.2012 by Mirta Follweiler I'm a fan of dubstep and this sort of darker bass oriented music, and with a little background in breakcore and some of the artglitch-music from about ten years ago, I still fancy very ugly distorted sounds (in a lo-fi way rather than the hyperpolished posh sounding middlewobbles in contemporary american dubstep) that I've been on the look for. I just realised that the production in Death Grips was very very close to this, very underground and raw sound, and I'd love to have some more of stuff like that. I can see some slight similarities in the Vex'd and The Bug, from a dubstep perspective. Anyone recognize anything they've stumbled upon that might fit into this? | |
