London DJs - Open Decks Night (Come play!)
Posted on: 26.06.2012 by Melinda Shick
Hi DJTT,

We are in the process of restarting our sucessful Open Decks evening in East London - we are looking for DJs of all genres and playing styles who want a chance at getting their name out there, or even pros who want a chance to try out new tunes and have a good laugh with a good crowd.
Date TBC but will be next month.

Post your demo mixes here, we are auditioning mixes right now so show us what you can do!

I appreciate the advice man, I'll definitely look more into it.

To the OP, I am really interested in getting involved in one of your evening s, can you tell me if spinning on an S2 is OK or would you prefer vinyl/Cd's?

I will be doing a few mixes this week so will send some over to you when they are complete.

I work in East London so no problem with getting there whatever time I am needed.

here is my efforts, this is from our monthly mix show Digital Symphony run by myself and a friend. Im on hour two but we often just hit the decks back 2 back. This mix is very deep and tech house focused but we often do some progressive mixes and can knock out a good uplifting trance mixes when we are in the mood
