Galina Mancinas 27.07.2012 | Take it from an old IT guy, snag a roll of velcro. Zip ties can make everything look fantastic and clean, but only use them on stuff you don't plan on moving or changing. The problem with them is you add one more cable or need to move something and you're cutting them all off and re-doing them. The Velcro ties\wraps they sell are also a pain in the ass. You have to punch out the little slot and wrestle with them to get them just right. A plain old roll of Velcro is by far the easiest thing to use. Grab a pair of scissors and cut off the perfect length and you're done. IMG_1086.jpg |

Erica Charvet 27.07.2012 | Velcro ties are great for running wires. I use about 60 of these at each gig to keep wire runs clean. I also run wire loom attached to the inside of my trusses, along with some of it being pre-wired. IMG_0655.jpg |

Germaine Bernadin 27.07.2012 | In a large pan on the stove with the rest of the spaghetti. |
Kiyoko Wellisch 27.07.2012 | I tie up my loose cables with elastic bands, but it doesn't really work so well for long XLRs and such. I'm probably going to invest in some velcro ties at some stage. As for those currently in use- I don't It's a huge mess behind my decks. D: |
Claude Koveleski 27.07.2012 | That's a great idea! I might trying making somthing similar only I'll use a old road case and some large diameter conduit. |

Claude Koveleski 27.07.2012 | I also use a labeler. Print the label and stick is to the cable. Then use a clear piece of heat shrink over the top. |
Stefania Herb 27.07.2012 | i use zip ties and colored leads, this way i always know whats running to what i.e. red leads are monitors, blue leads are to house system, black are rca for decks. and then i have different colored USB leads blue for the ttm57 black for the dicers red for the apc20 |
Claude Koveleski 27.07.2012 | Custom leads. I make all my own leads. Each is the perfect length. Then use zip ties to keep it all neat. |
