to be fair: every big festival has been doing this lately. EDC New York had all your beatport top 10 along guys like oscar g, danny tenaglia, carl cox & friends and the "enter" crew. ultra did the same with giving carl cox his own floor etc..

Holy shit! They have a huge amount of artists and the line up is so diverse!

But most of the DJs I'm interested in play from time to time in a smaller venue and I enjoy that more and it's cheaper.

Props to the tons of people operating this thing. They did a small segment on the "tent cities" and facilities. Looked top notch.

The main stage and the whole fairytale-esque setting is something that seems truly unique in a creative sense and they recognized sooner than others that they can sell this attitude globally. I believe they are one of very few festivals in Europe that specifically offers tickets including flights for overseas guests. I guess you could say they found a way to commercialise the current American EDM craze in Europe while still keeping quality underground music on site.

I had no idea this festival was gathering so much international intrest. I thought meh it's just "medium size" but it's all over facebook (non-belgian friends) and now here. What's so special about it ? What does it bring to the table that other festivals around the world don't ?
