Sennheiser HD25 Parts - Where to get?
Posted on: 25.02.2012 by Palma Hanslip
I have been using my HD25 II's for just under two years now but i noticed today that there is a slight split just away from the ear pad on the plastic cup. It is just a small split but enough that will probably grow even though it's small just now but after looking on the Sennheiser web page, Amazon, eBay and Google etc i can't seem to find just the outer cup..

The only thing i can find is this:

http://spares.sennheiser.co.uk/pro-a...es-040178.html

Now if i have to buy the whole lot i will buy it but my question is, does anyone know where i can buy just the outer case? That's all i need..

At work we use Canford for all Sennhesier headphone parts. You can get everything you need to build a set from scratch...

Good luck on the parts, mine have had no issues in the 2 years I've had them, but was wondering where I'd go if I did need them...

Oh, and Zilch, what I do for my HD-25s cable is have a 10ft coiled extension, run that through my belt loop, and plug my HDs in.. Works great and I'm not restricted to the 6 ft cable which sucks!!!

Try Canford.
They are a professional broadcast supplier. All spare parts are available, transducers, cables, headbands...you name it. You can build a set from parts if you're that way inclined.

speaking of hd25 parts, has anyone tried those curled cables?

some people said the curled hd25 cables are heavy and actually pull the whole headphone down, just wanna ask if anyone is using the curled/coiled cable and can comment on how they are?

Super glue is the way forward. My MDR-V700 are nearly 15 years old, and held together with super glue and wire! (Was a small zip tie - but I replaced it with some wire...)
