Pioneer djm 250

Hello

any thoughts on the mixer? I am going for a ultra portable set up with one x1, audio4 and a 2 channel mixer. Has anyone played with it? Is it any good? I like the filter and the xlr out so you can be plugged in anywhere. Or is there any other suggestion for a decent mixer?

I have one, it's great. Not just good for what you pay for, just really, really nice.

It doesn't feel like cheap gear, everything feels really solid.
The DSP and filters are straight off the 900, so the quality is excellent.

I picked it up over the Xone:22 because it was digital, and because the 22 apparently has 'filter pop'

Only thing I wish it had was record out, but other than that, great 2 channel mixer!

(BTW: +1 on buying black)

lol
He said he watns a PORTABLE setup.
Only 900 has built in soundcard, while 700 and 800 only MIDI. I tried 700 in a MIDI mode, but it is far away from having a x1.

The DJM250 is still 3/4 the size of a DJM700/800/900, so why not just get one of those. I know there is a *BIT* of a price difference, but it's worth to be able to integrate the mixer with Traktor.

Thanks for the replies, i looked into the xone22 and i believe the filter is difficult to use. On the pioneer you have to filters each for i channel which can be used also for transitions, i dont see this is possible with the xone22. As for the denon i couldnt find it anywhere. So I guess the money goes to the djm 250. White or black?!

Its kinda hard to find, but I just found a deal on a DN-X300 which is a 10" 2 channel mixer by Denon that's discontinued but if you can find one they are great and pretty cheap (got mine for 140 after tax and all). Just a suggestion

I will buy one and use it with same setup (X1, audio 4).
Go and try xone 22 (main competitor). I had 22's bigger brother xone 42. I just coulndt get along with filter pop, and sound hiss when pressing cue. Sound quality is better, also filter sound warmer but I prefer DJM layout, that is why filters are more usable IMO

for a small 2 channel you can get those, or like a xone 22 or djm 400,
