Traktor 2.5.1 update wiped all settings. Happen to anyone else?
Traktor 2.5.1 update wiped all settings. Happen to anyone else? Posted on: 20.08.2012 by Meg Reinoehl Over the weekend, I updated to Traktor 2.5.1 after being super excited about the resizable Controller Manager. Oddly enough, upon first launch, I received the prompts to copy previous settings as usual, and once it did all that jazz I was prompted with the controller setup. This seemed strange as this window usually only comes up during fresh installs. After it fully launched, my screen looked like the default settings. My library, playlists, and controller mappings were gone. It was like I installed Traktor for the very first time on my computer. So the question is... does anyone know why this happened or how I can prevent it from happening in the future? Yeah, I should've backed everything up prior to update, but I'm over that. I just want to know how to prevent this fresh-but-not-fresh install from happening again. Thanks in advance. | |
