| Orval Locascio 22.08.2012 | YAY! first post...anyway, picked up the 5's a few weeks ago...used them for 2 days and just didn't feel they were performing like they should. Granted I wasn't expecting to be in awe at the sound coming from a pair of very moderately priced 5" monitors...I wasn't. Returned the 5's, got the 6's at a steal (i believe i paid 35 bucks more EACH) went home plugged them in and thought to myself, if these don't sound A LOT better than the 5's I'll go back, get the Mackie MR5's and be done with it. That was a few weeks ago...the 6's are staying right where they are. The difference in the specs aren't significant but the sound is. Mids can get a little muddy but if everything is EQ'd well they sound pretty damn good for what they are. |
