midimappings download - why .tsi.xml format?!

hi there,

i was just wondering if anybody made the same experience when downloading traktor midimappings (for example the latest version of the MF3D DeckGrat here at DJTT) the downloaded files have the extension .tsi.xml which i actually rename manually to .tsi

searched the community here, but seems nobody ever had this question (or maybe i need just another coffee )

is there a more elegant why to download the file in the proper .tsi format?

Guys please help me!
I own a 13-inch Mac the latest release in June!
I am already in possession of one of the Numark Omni Control with integrated sound card!
I bought a Korg NanoKontrol2 to enable the functions of sample!

I have a problem arose!
I tried to put both controllers on the mac, but when I import the mapping or open and close the curtain of the setting or work on the controller manager, my mac it takes a lot time!

also
to map two controllers on traktor pro 2.5 What should I do?
you have to put on two midi channels? and how?

I hope for your help guys!
Thank you!
