Deep bass Techno?
Deep bass Techno? Posted on: 22.08.2012 by Evelyn Navarijo Er... So in an unexpected flash of inspiration, I've found myself looking a bit at mixing Techno and pretending to be Richie Hawtin. And don't get me wrong, I really like a lot of Techno, but I found this one tune (which may not be strictly Techno) that really caught my attentionSo yeah... Kryptic Minds, maybe not the first thing one would expect, but I really like the sort of "deep n dark bass"-vibe this has going, kind of evocative of the 'Dungeon' sound (of which I am very fond). Obviously, I'd need more than one tune if I want to mix this kind of music, so I was wondering, do you guys have any recommendations of similar tunage/labels to a complete noob? (No, I'm not looking for a playlist or anything of the sorts, I'm just looking to get into a new genre) | |

Birgit Gondal 24.08.2012 | Stroboscopic Artefacts. Xhin, Lucy and Dadub take it daaaark. frozen border may be of some interest to you as well, its a particularly purist label though, all analogue all the time. and of course Ostgut Ton, cant beat some dark berlin techno. |

Evelyn Navarijo 22.08.2012 | I don't believe you'd find much on Osiris, they mostly release Dubstep & DnB. I'll check out the others though, cheers. |
Random X 22.08.2012 | You might want to check Audio Junktion's tracklists, he once did a CLR podcast filled with tracks like these. Or start at the BeatPort page of the lable. (http://www.beatport.com/label/osiris/7550) You could always check Xhin. |
