How do I use my DJ Controller as the default soundcard for my computer? Posted on: 01.09.2012 by Kitty Marynowski Right now, my DJ Controller (hercules MK4) is only being used when I use it with a DJ program like Traktor or Virtual DJ. What I want to do is I want to be able to use it as the default device so if I use itunes, youtube, xbmc, etc. it goes through the controller instead of my computer. (I'm using windows 7 64 bit). How can I do this? | |

| Janyce Henningson 31.08.2012 | Right-click your volume icon in the taskbar. Then click Playback Devices. Then select the Hercules soundcard in the list. Then click Set Default. That should work.. |
| Kitty Marynowski 31.08.2012 | I've tried that but still nothing comes out of the speakers. Am I missing something? I should be able to do it with just my usb cable plugged into my mixer, and RCA cables plugged from my mixer to the speakers right? It works with traktor, but nothing happens elsewhere |
