Dj/Artist name criticism?
Dj/Artist name criticism? Posted on: 02.09.2012 by Rudolph Overturff Hey all, I'm having a rough time with what I thought is a unique and catchy name. My question is, did all of you get people criticizing the Dj or artist name that you chose? I'm getting good responses and then some others like, " oh cool but what about like a virus name, or a catchy disease name, maybe a fantasy name, etc." | |

Celine Surico 03.09.2012 | My only comment is that it's good to believe a long time for a performance name and then stick to it. All the marketing, PR et rest is gone when switching names, unless you have a reason to hide past sins, of course. Otherwise, I agree, get a good name and then the work really starts. |

Yong Aptekar 03.09.2012 | I don't care for DJ name threads, but I do like the name Paris Creative. Sounds like there should be more of you though. 3 in a group. Or you and 2 clones. Hype name though. |
Lilliana Perris 03.09.2012 | Just believe of it like this....you will be punting, saying, writing, typing, hearing it for a LONG time. Make sure you like it. Its like a tattoo....believe about it for a while before you do it. |
Ossie Pooley 03.09.2012 | Synthetic Celebrity is a boss name though. =P |

Jonas Hanway 03.09.2012 | Just gone with my own name. The whole DJ name for a starter-upper I find tacky. Might just be a UK thing.. I dunno. |
Celine Surico 02.09.2012 | Just leave the DJ in front and you will be fine. |
Judi Sissel 02.09.2012 | Their names didn't make them who they are... they made their names what they are. |
Rudolph Overturff 02.09.2012 | Thanks a bunch StephanV ! It's a real bummer when you believe you've found the name that will be next to Carl Cox, or Kaskade, etc some day on a flier and somebody's like, " uhhhh... Worst idea ever!" I've had this name for a while , but just now let it be known lol. |
