Shitty mix (I think) Posted on: 15.09.2010 by Dudley Denoux Sometimes I do a mix and believe it's trash and then I listen to it later and it's not so bad. Lately I've been the worst critic picking things out everywhere. I did this short mix as a promo and can't decide whether to use it or not.I don't believe there's anything disastrous in it, but you can definitely hear bad shit imo. It's only 25 mins so give it a listen if you've got time, or just listen to the transitions, either way any feedback would be grand. I've actually noticed lately that my mixes sound a little clipped and couldn't believe why as my gains are usually at or under 0db, so good tip on the record master gain, most likely the problem. | Alice Kanning 17.09.2010 | Your mix is very good, and most of your 'errors' wouldn't even came to my mind if you made a comment at that point . 1st comment: Disagree 2nd comment: Agree 3th comment: Disagree , i like it ! 4th comment: Disagree, very well done! 5th comment: Agree, just doesn't feel right. 6th comment: Dont agree with your comment, but i do believe the next track aint in the same style. 7th comment: Dont hear the error . But you should put your record master a bit down, it is a bit too loud (not for my ears, but it gives a bit off overall distortion.) O, and please go comment my mix too . It's in the 'let roxane take over control' thread. Or you could check out my soundcloud and also comment on my other mix! Thx in advance! |

I suppose I'm as bad as everyone else at not giving people feedback, but at least I've marked the transitions and where I believe things are struggling, just want people to agree or disagree so I can improve!
