So you have to have subscribers to a show before iTunes will accept it, but if you don't have the show in iTunes how do you get subscribers? All I did was submit my rss feed and it got accepted. As far as I know I had no subscribers before it was in iTunes.

The RSS feed checks out, though I don't understand why the Podomatic feed generator creates ONLY iTunes-specific tags. People using other feed readers may not see any of your written content. I also don't see the playlists your page says are available.

The pub date listed on the feed is today, Oct. 5. When did you submit this to iTunes? After a few weeks you can follow up by querying them or resubmit.

Not sure why your name's not pulling up the podcasts under a search. Podomatic should be able to tell you how many subscribers you have. Mine was searchable in just a few days after it was approved.

I have been a part of the community for at least 1 year actually, just have a new account now with my updated name and info and yes this is the first of many future posts. I am not trolling for listeners just trying to gain acceptance and exposure by the itunes store as i was told that in order to show up in the search database which I haven't yet..... you need to have a minumum # of people subscribe? I believe the person that told me this was definatly misinformed, however I am still confused why my Podcast is not searchable in itunes yet as I have a valid feed and met all the requirements. Its been at least 2 weeks. Sorry for the apparent sketchiness as you judged me at first but I am a genuine supporter of djranking s and just looking for advice and help from fellow members.
Thank you

You don't have to have any subscribers at all to get accepted by iTunes. You just need a valid RSS feed, and you have to accept their agreements and pass whatever arbitrary muster they use. It usually takes 3 days to a week.

...and if you have an iTunes subscription link, then you're already in iTunes. Especially as you have a podcast page on Podomatic. Which you surely know. As this is your first post I believe you're just trolling for listeners.
